Quinten (b. 1993) discovered his passion for music at an early age.
At the age of nine, he began his studies at the Lokeren Music Academy, where he studied viola and piano.
At sixteen, he continued his musical education at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven. There, his love for choral music blossomed into a true vocation. He earned degrees in music education, choral conducting, and composition, completing his master’s degree in choral conducting in 2019.
Today, Quinten combines his work as a conductor, music educator, and composer. He leads various choirs both at home and abroad and is known for his enthusiastic, unifying approach. In addition, he remains active as a singer with Capella di Voce—a renowned Belgian choir dedicated to contemporary Flemish choral music—and with the vocal ensemble Reflection, led by Patrick Windmolders, which also enjoys an outstanding reputation.
To further hone his craft, Quinten attended international masterclasses in Austria with Erwin Örtner (choral conducting) and Wolfram Wagner (composition), and in the Netherlands with Louis Buskens. He brings this broad artistic background to every rehearsal and performance, focusing equally on musical quality and the joy of singing together.
